Is Vinted Pro Available in Ireland? Why the Answer is So Confusing

Page Last Updated: 6th August 2026

As of August 2026, Vinted Pro is seemingly not available in the Republic of Ireland.

Unlike in countries like the UK where Pro seller accounts are very much allowed, the situation in Ireland is a bit more complicated.

Searching online doesn’t usually provide a clear conclusion at first. AI overviews also seem to give contradictory information (more on that later).

This is further confused by the fact that Vinted says that it occasionally operates Beta testing in new countries, so Pro market places may occasionally be available from time to time in new locations.

Google AI Summaries Potentially Misleading

tl;dr- don’t blindly trust what the Google AI Overview has to say about Vinted Pro in Ireland.

When researching this article, I typed the search query ‘Vinted Pro Seller Ireland’ into Google. The AI summary assured me that Vinted Pro was available in Ireland. However, the article the summary was pulling up seemed to be referencing this guide for Pro Sellers on vinted.ie.

This guide doesn’t seem to be aimed at an Irish audience specifically, and lists available Pro seller countries as France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Notably, the UK is missing from this list, and I know that it does have a Pro seller option. It seems therefore that this guide is out of date.

In case things were not already complicated enough, the Irish marketplace is also linked to Vinted France, allowing customers to buy and sell to each other in both EU countries. And the French platform, as you can see from that list, is a country that allows Pro selling!

Does that Mean Vinted Pro Is Available in Ireland?

In itself, no. Here’s the breakdown as to why.

Full disclosure, I’m actually writing this article from the UK, so your mileage may vary when it comes to Google search results in your country. I just wanted to advise that, with AI snippets being the first thing that many people look at and trust for answers nowadays, you need to be careful that you don’t come away with the wrong impression.

Asking Google whether Vinted Pro was available in the Ireland gave the answer ‘no’, so I wondered whether it was something to do with the word ‘seller’.

It seems I was wrong.

Asking ‘Is Vinted available in ROI’ also gave me a ‘yes’ answer.

Oh, and then there is this ‘Vinted Pro Service‘ page on the vinted.ie Help Centre, which advises that Ireland (and the UK) are among the countries that offer Pro accounts.

The moral of the story: be very careful and don’t take the AI conclusions as gospel, as answers can vary according to how you phrase your query.

Reddit May Have the Answer

On a Reddit page on r/VintedIreland, shown as a month old when I wrote this article, someone asked ‘Has anyone gone PRO?’ The user was then informed by other members that Pro accounts are not available in Ireland.

So there, you (probably) have your answer. Thank you, Reddit!

Why Does It Even Matter?

On Vinted, the Pro/ non-Pro distinction really does matter, as it determines whether you are allowed to buy and sell items for profit, as opposed to just clearing out your wardrobe (or cupboard, I suppose, in the case of craft supplies).

This also means that you are not allowed to sell your own craft sets if you’re an individual seller, as doing so has commercial intent.

And yes, the rules may not be super clear, but don’t try to skirt them because Vinted will ban you.

A Call Out to Irish Readers

If any of you are based in Ireland, I would be incredibly grateful if you could drop a comment below to alert us if the situation ever changes or if you have any personal experience or knowledge as a Vinted seller in the Republic of Ireland.

It’s always possible that your app interface could show you new options in future, or that Vinted could add or take away features. After all, the whole app shut down in Canada a couple of years ago, so who knows what lies in store!

If I’ve missed anything important in my research and you can spare a few minutes of your time, please let me know.
