When Did Vinted Launch in Denmark?
Vinted launched in Denmark in September 2023, following its earlier expansion into Sweden.
Finland was added later in 2023, meaning Vinted was then available in three Nordic countries: Sweden, Denmark, and Finland.
However, Vinted hasn’t yet launched in Norway. If you are based there, read the guide to whether Vinted is available in Norway.
Does Vinted Denmark Include the Faroe Islands and Greenland?
No. Vinted’s Danish marketplace doesn’t include the Faroe Islands or Greenland.
When Vinted Denmark launched in September 2023, the company specifically stated that the Danish platform excluded the two territories. Although Greenland and the Faroe Islands are part of the Kingdom of Denmark, they are treated separately for Vinted availability and shipping purposes.
Which Countries Is Vinted Denmark Connected To?
Vinted Denmark isn’t just limited to buying and selling in Denmark. Danish users can also see listings from other connected Vinted markets.
Vinted Denmark is currently connected with Sweden, Finland and Poland, allowing Danish users to buy from and sell to members in these markets.
Keep in mind that the countries connected to individual marketplaces can change as Vinted expands its shipping network.
How Does Vinted Shipping Work in Denmark?
When you buy an item on Vinted Denmark, the available delivery methods and price are shown during the purchase process.
Vinted works with delivery companies to provide integrated shipping, including both domestic and international orders where the relevant marketplaces are connected.
Shipping providers available to Danish Vinted users can include PostNord and DAO. In June 2026, Vinted also added access to Instabee’s delivery network in Denmark. Instabee was formed in 2022 when delivery companies Instabox and Budbee combined, and both brands continue to operate under the Instabee group.
The exact carriers and delivery methods available can depend on your order and may vary over time.
What Happened to Trendsales?
Vinted acquired Danish second-hand marketplace Trendsales in March 2024, following its launch in Denmark the previous year. It did this to strengthen it’s position in the Danish market.
You can read our guide about what happened to Trendsales for more information about the platform and its acquisition by Vinted.
Can I Use Vinted Denmark If I Don’t Live in Denmark?
No. Even though you may be able to see listings on Vinted.dk, this isn’t the same as being able to use the app to buy and sell second-hand items.
Vinted accounts, buying options, and shipping connections depend on the markets that the platform officially supports.
